Saiki Marine Products Co., Ltd. has been a company living alongside people and nature in Oita for 122 years, and we aim to convey the value of this legacy.

Saiki City is Oita Prefecture’s leading fishery city, accounting for nearly 70% of the prefecture’s fisheries production.

From “catching,” “selecting,” “processing,” to “utilizing” the fish, Saiki is home to professionals who have perfected their craft at each stage of the process.

Our role is to pass on the baton of high freshness and quality, established by the producers, along with their passion, to our customers.

The value of our Dried fish goes beyond it being just a means of preservation.

By using fish fresh enough to be served as sashimi and turning it into frozen dried fish at this peak moment, we lock in both the flavor and nutrition.

There have been times when customers have seen frozen dried fish at our stores and said, “Frozen fish feels strange.” Each time, we have assured that, “This is the best way to preserve freshness.”

In order to offer products with quality, price, and variety that our customers can be satisfied with, the cooperation of the producers is essential.

To make this possible, we handle each product with care, and creatively design store spaces and product explanations for our customers.

Additionally, we set our store fees lower than the market rate, aiming to create a store that benefits the entire local community.
